HEART4Victims (HEART) is committed to maintaining the privacy of those who visit our Web site (site), as well as those who contribute funds. HEART does not store social security numbers, credit card numbers, or other highly sensitive information. HEART honors donor wishes regarding anonymity.
HEART protects your information
HEART uses PCI encryption standards to protect your information. While we use a third party for processing donations, no credit card numbers are stored or kept by HEART once charged. HEART’s databases are password protected and access is limited to only certain individuals in the organization.
This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices HEART uses on its site http://www.heart4victims.org. HEART is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization assisting victims of crime and those who provide services to victims.
Information collection and use
HEART is the sole owner of the information collected from this site. HEART does not send “cookies” to monitor or record site activity. HEART may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate reporting. HEART is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant.
Right of Erasure
In line with current European Union regulations, you can request that HEART delete any information that you have shared with us at any time. You may arrange for your personal data to be corrected, blocked, or completely deleted at any time. Please send your request to email@example.com.
